Did Netflix board of directors murder D.B. Cooper?? - 7/9/26

I think he might have been my neighbor in Laurel Canyon. This is all so ridiculous that we might as well go there.

I lived on Lookout Mountain Ave. There's a lot of history on and around that street in Laurel Canyon in particular, and you can google it and enjoy the weird internet conspiracy stuff you find.

Supposedly underneath my home is the underground government base where they keep all the alien tech etc lol, connected to Lookout Mountain Airforce Station (now Jared Leto's home, he used to stomp around the neighborhood in a long beard and baseball cap). I  never chatted with him, maybe he's nice I dunno. Anyway.

As referenced in my long blog post "Breaking Character / Special Update 6/9/26", after Airbnb CFO & Netflix board of directors member Ellie Mertz turned my Laurel Canyon street into a magnet for addicts by enabling and covering up a clandestine fentanyl lab in my home, there was a fire two doors up from my house. I tried to get in but it was a huge fire and a man died inside. 

I spoke to ABC7 reporter Jory Rand, but I didn't want to be on camera (I swear I imagined my former Netflix bosses laughing at me), but I did give him footage of the fire from my phone and signed over the paperwork for it. You can also see my house in the background of some of the shots.

When people hear Rothschild, combined with a mysterious death in a Hollywood Hills fire, you get all kinds of theories.

A couple days after the fire, two aggressive addicts were out front of the burned down house when I took out the trash. They saw me and both stared at me intensely and moved toward me while one spoke to me. He said "Houses don't just burn down on their own", and then stream-of-consciousness babbled about how the deceased homeowner had promised them or owed them some kind of payment or treasure or something. They never blinked. I sensed immediate danger and pretended I couldn't really hear them and backed into my house while they approached. I never saw them or any other addicts on the street ever again. Honestly, they seemed demonic lol and they stared at me in an intense way I've never experienced. Anyway, thanks Ellie Mertz!

There's so much history on Lookout Mountain in Laurel Canyon, and my favorite of the many conspiracy legends is Steven Toast walking in on Stanley Kubrick filming the moon landing at the very real Lookout Mountain Airforce Station:

According to ABC7's report, my 87-year-old neighbor who died in the fire was actually Oregon native William Kaufman, who legally changed his name to William de Rothschild in 1985. Here's an article about it from Rogue Valley Times (the LA Times article about it is behind a paywall):

The news reports also talk about how William Kaufman, before he legally changed his name to William de Rothschild in 1985, disappeared in the 1970s and his family assumed he was dead since then.

Anyway! There's only one photo of "William de Rothschild" that exists anywhere online that I can find, and it's a photo of him as a teenager (above, on the right). The other pics (above, on the left) are police sketches of how witnesses described D.B. Cooper.

The timing does line up...

The D.B. Cooper airplane heist and parachute escape on the flight from Portland, Oregon was in 1971, when William Kaufman was 33 years old. 

William Kaufman is from Oregon and he lived there until his disappearance in the 1970s. 

After he disappeared in the 1970s and his family in Oregon assumed he was dead, William Kaufman bought the home on Lookout Mountain. He then legally changed his name to William de Rothschild in 1985. He then bought tons of real estate in Laurel Canyon with cash and built a huge fortune.

It makes perfect sense to change your name to de Rothschild in 1985, and purchase land with cash and lay low on Lookout Mountain-- if you're D.B. Cooper and you don't want anyone asking questions about how you have the money...

And why would Jay Hoag and TCV have Ellie Mertz send addicts from their Airbnb clandestine fentanyl labs to murder him in a ritualistic fire ???  

Because he impersonated a Rothschild. Billionaires and secret societies don't love imposters I would imagine! Especially above their secret alien labs or whatever lol. And he seemed like a good dude, so maybe that angered them too.

Anyway that's today's fun post. I don't actually think the Netflix board of directors killed him (I guess?), but I kind of do think he might have been D.B. Cooper...
